The sneaker is inspired by a national favorite in Greece, the gyro. The upper of the sneaker is composed of a mix of suede and various forms of leather. Brown elephant print leather is featured on the heel to resemble the textured lamb meat in gyros. Tan suede overlays represent the pita, while hits of red tumbled leather on the Swoosh and laces are the tomatoes of the wrapped food. Gyro and Color Skates logo graphics are on the heels of each shoe, further showing off the sneaker's inspiration. The Nike SB Dunk High Color Skates Kebab and Destroy released in June of 2021.
