The Galaxy Flight One released as a part of the themed "Galaxy NRG" pack that included releases like the Galaxy Foams, KD 4, LeBron 9 and Kobe 7. All of the designs featured space travel inspired details and the Nike Air Flight One focused on the astronaut elements of space travel. The official colorway of the Galaxy Flight One is Dark Grey/Fresh Mint-Wolf Grey and that sufficiently describes the colors of the upper but the details helped take this release to a whole new level. The Fresh Mint colored pods and the outsole of the Galaxy NRG Flight One are glow-in-the-dark. On the tongue, where the original Flight One from 1995 would have a simple Swoosh logo, Nike drew up a patch type logo inspired by the original NASA logo patches worn by astronauts.The inner lining of the Air Flight One features the now-famous "Galaxy Print" that made its way onto the Foamposites and much more.
